Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion knows he has overstayed his welcome in the wrestling business. Ric Flair, at 75, has finally made an important announcement on his in-ring future.

The Nature Boy last donned his wrestling boots during a special event named after him - "Ric Flair's Last Match" on July 31, 2022, where he joined forces with Andrade to beat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal.

Two years on from his last hurrah, the WWE Hall of Famer said he still has one more match left in him. Flair was recently spotted training at the gym, leaving fans wondering if he was preparing to step out of retirement once again.

The Nature Boy hasn't stayed true to his retirement since WrestleMania 24. However, he appears to have set the record straight on his in-ring future.

Earlier today, Ric Flair took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to announce that he won't step back inside the squared circle anytime soon.

The 16-time world champion also sent a stern message to Bronson Reed, saying he couldn't "Tsunami" him on his best day.

"No Return To The Ring Ever! Thankful For The Great Health And The Conditioning That Would Allow Me To. @Bronsonishere Couldn’t Tsunami Me On His Best Day!"

Will John Cena break Ric Flair's record in WWE?

The WWE Universe is rallying behind John Cena in his quest to break Ric Flair's record and win his 17th world championship.

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, the Nature Boy said he doesn't think The Cenation Leader has any interest in breaking the record.

"John Cena doesn’t want to break a record... He’s in a different world now. Wrestling will always be his passion, but he doesn’t care [about breaking the record]."

Flair, however, is rooting for his daughter Charlotte to break his record as he feels the moment will change the landscape of pro wrestling.

"I still think the biggest thing in the business, when it happens... it'll be a real game-changer, just like she is in real-life... is [Charlotte] breaking the title record. I believe it's in the cards, I can look at the show and see. It's a woman's world now, and she's the best women's wrestler alive."

Regardless, John Cena has declared his entry into the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match in hopes of earning himself one last shot at the WWE Championship and WrestleMania main event.
