4-time WWE world champion wants Hollywood megastar Brad Pitt to portray him in a movie

It’s a dream for many WWE fans to see Brad Pitt appear in the company someday. A WWE legend recently picked the Hollywood megastar as someone he’d want to play him in a movie.

Shawn Michaels has been leading the NXT brand after an illustrious in-ring career. Many consider him the greatest wrestler of all time. During his time in WWE, he won four world titles and the Royal Rumble twice.

Fans have seen a very different side to HBK since he took over control of the NXT brand from Triple H. He has come forward as a great mentor and a creative genius who has helped propel many newcomers’ careers.

NXT’s official Instagram channel asked the brand’s talent who they’d want to see play them in a movie. Shawn Michaels had an exciting reply when he was asked the question. He stated that he would want Brad Pitt to portray his younger self. However, he joked that no one alive could portray his current self on the screen.

"Young me? Brad Pitt. Old me? Uh, I don’t even want to think about it; he’s probably not with us anymore," HBK stated in the Instagram reel.

WWE fans could see a biopic about Shawn Michaels go under production in the coming years. He is one of the greatest sports entertainers of all time, and Netflix could take an interest in producing a biopic around his career.

Brad Pitt has shown some interest in WWE

Cathy Kelley interviewed Hollywood star Brad Pitt back in 2019 during the latter's promotional tour for his sci-fi movie 'Ad Astra'. The video of the interview was uploaded to the company’s YouTube channel.

During their talk, Pitt was asked about his willingness to attend a WWE show or enter the ring someday. The A-lister stated that he would be open to the idea of attending a show someday. However, he wasn’t in favor of entering the ring. He may have thought of doing something like that in his earlier days in the industry.

Fans could see Brad Pitt show up at WrestleMania XLI or some other show down the line. He could also have a face-off with a top star like Gunther or Seth Rollins to build some hype.

It would be great to see him play a popular superstar on screen someday. However, there is no confirmation of that happening yet.
