A WWE Superstar recently decided that she has stayed without a world championship for far too long. The 42-year-old wrestler highlighted a previous glory of hers and pointed out a similar pattern in her career. Now, Natalya may soon be after the title resting on the shoulders of Liv Morgan.
Nattie is a former WWE Divas and Women’s Champion. The Hart Dynasty wrestler holds several Guinness Book World Records for several career achievements. The Canadian Superstar has been training other stars and putting them over for a long time. Now, Natalya has sent a tweet on X and said that she will be entering the championship race herself.
“14 years ago, I won my first title. People did right by me that night, and I’ve been trying to do the same in return my whole career. It took me 7 more years to win my next, and that was 7 years ago. Maybe it’s time I stopped training champions and chase it myself again,” she wrote.
Natalya’s desire to become a World Champion again would put her in direct opposition to Liv Morgan since she is on the RAW brand. Despite this, the Judgment Day member recently made a character-breaking statement and praised Nattie.
In an interview with Billboard, Morgan listed her top four picks for the Mount Rushmore of wrestling in the women’s division. The Women’s World Champion listed several great stars like Trish Stratus, Chyna, and herself, alongside Nattie. Interestingly, while she just named the other legends, she had much more to say about Natalya.
“She's [Natalya] the past, the present, and the future. She's been with WWE for almost 18 years. Do you know how incredible that is and what an incredible career that is? I think she's the most decorated woman in WWE history. I think she has the most wins, the most matches for any woman in WWE and she gets better as she goes along," she said. [H/T - WrestlingInc.]
Thus, if both these wrestlers come face to face, the Judgment Day member will have to decide whether she will become a champion of the past. It would be interesting to see if The Queen of Harts gets in the ring with Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship in the future.
