On the latest episode of WWE RAW, it was announced that the United States Championship will be defended at Survivor Series. LA Knight will put the title on the line against his new rival.

The Megastar was blindsided by a returning Shinsuke Nakamura on the November 15 episode of SmackDown. The attack came after he defeated Berto of Legado Del Fantasma to retain the title. The King of Strong Style nailed the champion with the Kinshasa before exiting the ring.

Last week on the blue brand, Shinsuke Nakamura's show aired a video explaining why he targeted LA Knight. He claimed that the latter was riddled with insecurities and desperate to hear people chant his name. The 44-year-old then said that it was the beginning of The Megastar's end.

The video package aired before LA defended his US Title against Santos Escobar. After the former won the bout to retain the gold, Shinsuke attacked him again. During this week's RAW, WWE announced that at Survivor Series, it'll be LA Knight vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the coveted United States Championship.

The Artist has held the title twice before, and his reign lasted a combined 158 days. It'll be interesting to see whether he'll recapture the championship this Saturday.
