LA Knight has held the United States Championship since WWE SummerSlam. Wrestling veteran Greg Gagne recently predicted The Megastar would drop the title to another SmackDown star.

Since winning the title, Knight has been a fighting champion. He defended his championship against several superstars, including Santos Escobar, Carmelo Hayes, and Andrade. This Saturday, the 42-year-old will put his title on the line against the returning Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series. The seven-time champion returned nearly two weeks ago to attack The Megastar. He did the same last Friday on the blue brand before the title match became official.

On the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, Gagne predicted the outcome of the upcoming title match at Survivor Series. He claimed Nakamura would walk out of the premium live event with the United States Championship:

"I would have to say they probably would have to go with him [Nakamura]. That new entrance he made, he looks pretty awesome," he said. [52:12 - 52:20]

Ex-WWE writer also thinks Shinsuke Nakamura could dethrone LA Knight

On his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. addressed the upcoming United States Championship match between LA Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura.

The Hollywood star claimed it would be cool if the title went back and forth between the two superstars. He also suggested Nakamura could dethrone The Megastar as the latter goes in another direction:

"It would be cool if it would go back and forth a little bit, or if he even could, you know, take it off LA Knight and then you find another story for LA," he said.

Knight successfully defended his title last Friday against Santos Escobar. It will be interesting to see if he can do the same this Saturday at Survivor Series.
