Aalyah Mysterio was a popular face on WWE TV throughout 2020 when she worked alongside Rey Mysterio and Buddy Murphy. The daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer has made a handful of appearances as part of the storyline between her father and brother Dominik Mysterio. However, it seems that there are no plans for her to return yet.

Mysterio recently noted that he would be open to reigniting his feud with his son Dominik Mysterio but it seems that Aalyah is currently busy with her medical career. The veteran recently told Peter Rosenberg at ComplexCon that although she is a huge wrestling fan, she opted to pursue medicine instead.

“She also loves it as much as Dom did. We played wrestling a lot, but for some reason, she was more on my wife’s side. She was the one that liked to study, [...] one of those girls [getting] A+s all the time still to this day, always she’s very dedicated to her education. So she on the other hand,is pursuing her medical career,” he said. [9:27 - 9:56]

Dominik Mysterio has become one of the biggest heels on RAW since leaving his father and joining The Judgment Day in 2022. Aalyah has been taking her exams and is currently focused on her medical career.

What's next for Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik on WWE RAW?

Rey Mysterio teamed with Zelina Vega this week on RAW and the duo were able to pick up a huge win over Ivy Nile and Chad Gable of American Made.

The LWO hasn't been heavily focused on WWE RAW in recent weeks so this could be the beginning of a push for Mysterio and Vega. Despite Mysterio being open to working with his son again, it's unclear if there are any plans, but it could easily be set up since they are both currently working on the red brand.

While we are unlikely to see Aalyah Mysterio back on WWE television anytime soon, there is a possibility that the father-son duo could run it back one more time.
