Alexa Bliss has been gone for nearly two years now, and there's a polarizing opinion on whether she is needed for the modern women's division or not. She shared a rare personal update on X/Twitter ahead of her impending return.

It seems to be a matter of when and not if Alexa Bliss returns to WWE. She took a hiatus after announcing her pregnancy and gave birth to her daughter, Hendrix Rouge, in November 2023. Her daughter is now a year old, and many are wondering if this means that Bliss will finally be back on WWE television soon.

So far, she has missed almost the entirety of the Triple H era. Ahead of what many consider an inevitable return, Bliss posted a tweet about a long travel day with the best flight attendant:

She seems to be one of the lucky ones. Many people in the United States of America faced major flight delays with American Airlines as several flights were grounded due to technical issues. It's the worst possible time to be facing flight delays as pre-Christmas is always going to have a lot of air traffic.

Alexa Bliss was referenced in an ongoing feud on RAW

Considering how the multi-time Women's Champion has been out for the better part of two years, it has been "out of sight, out of mind" for most fans with regards to her. But she was subtly referenced earlier this month.

On X/Twitter, Scarlett Bordeaux questioned Nikki Cross' intentions as her best friend Alexa Bliss was also "corrupted" by the Wyatts:

"Once upon a time, her best friend was corrupted by who ... So why is she standing next to him? The devils you know versus the devils you don't. Think about it," Scarlett Bordeaux wrote.

It's certainly going to be interesting to see what WWE has lined up for Bliss upon her return to the ring. Whether it's the Wyatt Sicks or otherwise, it's hard to argue against someone as talented as her being at the top of the women's division - whether it's RAW or SmackDown.

Many would argue that she has superior skills on the mic to just about every woman on the roster. With names like Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair also expected to return, things are going to get hot in the women's division soon.
