Jade Cargill's attacker on WWE SmackDown has remained a mystery, with several names under suspicion. Recently, Disco Inferno weighed in on the storyline and predicted that Charlotte Flair could reveal herself as the mystery assailant.
Last month, Jade Cargill was viciously attacked and removed from the Women's WarGames match by a mystery assailant. Since then, Bianca Belair has been looking for the perpetrator. Meanwhile, The EST has replaced Cargill with Naomi as her tag team partner and one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.
On Keepin' It 100, Konnan and Disco Inferno discussed the intriguing storyline. Inferno said Charlotte Flair was ready to return to in-ring competition and could end up as Jade Cargill's mystery attacker on Friday Night SmackDown.
"I don't know. Charlotte's ready to come back. So, I think the mystery is going to lead to Charlotte [Flair]," Inferno said. (From 1:42:20 to 1:42:30)
Last year, Charlotte Flair hit Asuka with a moonsault outside of the ring. Unfortunately, The Queen got hurt due to an awkward landing. Hence, the multi-time WWE Women's Champion has been out of action for over a year in the Stamford-based promotion.
Luckily, images and videos of the second-generation star's training sessions have been circulating online, and many expect The Queen to return to action soon. According to PWInsider, the multi-time Women's Champion is set to return to the global juggernaut's programming.
There's no fixed timetable for her return, but many veterans are expecting her to return in January 2025 when RAW debuts on Netflix or at the upcoming Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. It'll be interesting to see what The Queen does when she returns to television.
