Bayley teases going for another major WWE championship

Bayley is no stranger to championship gold in WWE. The company's first Women's Triple Crown Champion was its first Women's Grand Slam Champion. One-half of the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions, she is tied with Rhea Ripley for the longest SmackDown Women's Championship reign at 379 days. She also holds the record for the longest combined reign with that title at 520 days, but now has her eye on another accolade.

The Role Model is currently in the running to become the inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion. The tournament kicked off earlier this month with her winning a SmackDown Triple Threat over Candice LeRae and B-Fab to advance. The upcoming semi-finals will see the former Horsewoman face Chelsea Green, who defeated Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport to advance. The semi-final winner will earn a spot in the finals at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.

Adam Pearce unveiled the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship on this week's RAW. Participants have not been confirmed, but a tournament to crown the inaugural champion will begin on the post-Survivor Series RAW next Monday. This will be a red brand title to balance the Women's United States Championship on SmackDown.

Bayley is still a member of the SmackDown roster, but she's been hanging around the red brand as of late for the build to Survivor Series: WarGames. The 2024 Women's Royal Rumble winner took to her Instagram Stories today to share a photo of the Women's Intercontinental Championship on a monitor at the Gorilla Position backstage. The one-word caption proves how "hungry" she is for championship gold.

"Hungry," she wrote with the photo below.

Regarding the ongoing SmackDown tournament, Michin defeated Piper Niven and Lash Legend in a taped match on Friday. Later, after December 6, Michin will face Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, or Elektra Lopez. The winner will advance to the finals against Bayley or Green for the inaugural Women's US Championship.

Bayley is set for her third WarGames match

WWE will present the 38th annual Survivor Series PLE this Saturday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. The event will be headlined by the double-cage WarGames match for the men's and women's divisions.

Bayley has been confirmed for her third trip inside the WarGames structure. Due to Jade Cargill's injury status, the former Damage CTRL member will join the babyface team as Cargill's replacement.

It will now be The Role Model, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Naomi, and Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae.

Bayley made her WarGames debut in 2022, teaming with SKY, Ripley, Dakota Kai, and Nikki Cross for a loss to Belair, Michin, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka. She then returned to the grueling structure in 2023, teaming with SKY, Asuka, and Kairi Sane for a loss to Lynch, Belair, Charlotte Flair, and Shotzi.
