The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh have continued unabated as WWE World Tag Team Champions for the past four months. The duo defeated The Miz and R-Truth on the June 24 edition of RAW, and since then have continued to hold the title.
They edged The War Raiders on RAW this week, who were strong contenders to win the World Tag Team Title. It appears now that it will take a special tag team to beat The Judgment Day members.
This article will list four teams that can remove Finn Balor and JD McDonagh as WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Roman Reigns might move to the red brand next year, when WWE RAW goes on Netflix from January 1. That might bring Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on the same brand, and these two can keep aside their differences for a while, and take on The Judgment Day members to win the WWE World Tag Team Championship.
The two have been tag team champions when they were part of The Shield. Rollins and Reigns had beaten Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) at the Extreme Rules event in 2013. They retained it for nearly six months before losing it to Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a NO Disqualification match on RAW.
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns can get over The Judgment Day as they could also have The Usos backing them too. Moreover, the duo of Rollins and Reigns winning the tag team title would bring huge pop also.
There are signs of dissension in The Judgment Day faction, and there is a strong possibility of Dirty Dom turning babyface once again, and walking out of the group.
In case Dominik Mysterio leaves The Judgment Day after his differences with Finn Balor, he might team up once again with his father Rey Mysterio, and exact revenge on the faction.
The father-son duo have earlier been the tag team champions when they beat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode for the SmackDown Tag Team Title at WrestleMania Backlash in 2020.
They however lost it two months later at Money in The Bank PLE to The Usos. So, Rey and Dominik coming together for the final time and beating The Judgment Day would be an ideal scenario.
The 12-time tag team champions in WWE, The New Day would be another strong contender for dethroning The Judgment Day. Even though there have been tensions between Kingston and Woods for the past few weeks, the duo still can work out their differences and work towards the common goal.
Big E, who has been absent from the Stamford-based promotion for the past two years, could return and settle things between Kingston and Woods. He might then challenge Balor and McDonagh for the WWE World Tag Team Title and get his two mates to compete for it.
That would be the perfect return of Big E to the New Day faction once again, as they win the tag team title for the 13th time in their WWE careers.
The eight-time tag team champions are another big contender for beating JD McDonagh and Finn Balor for the World Tag Team Championship. When RAW moves to Netflix next year, The Usos might get together on the brand, and there are huge chances that they will challenge The Judgment Day members for the titles.
Jimmy and Jey Uso have been a formidable duo in the Stamford-based promotion. They also hold the record for the longest male tag team championship reign in the company. It remains to be seen if The Usos will win the tag team title for the ninth time in their careers.
