Bayley recently reiterated her desire to have a huge showdown against a beloved WWE veteran who hasn't wrestled in over 12 years now. The Role Model is still eyeing a major intergender match against popular broadcaster, Michael Cole.
Bayley is one of the most respected names in WWE today, with Cody Rhodes even labeling her as the company's true locker room leader. She has grown in stature over the past decade and enjoys immense popularity among both fans and her peers. The 35-year-old star has had several memorable feuds in WWE with some of the biggest names. However, one of Bayley's best rivalries, albeit in a lighter vein, that has been going on for years is with Michael Cole.
She often takes potshots at the SmackDown broadcaster on and off the screen. The Role Model has also on many occasions challenged Cole to wrestle her. A few hours back, Bayley took to X/Twitter to make her intentions known once again.
"I don’t care what anyone says, I get Cole first," wrote Bayley.
She responded to a fan. Check out the post below:
A few days back in an interview, Bayley discussed when she intended to hang up her boots in the Stamford-based promotion. The Role Model made it clear that she still had plenty to offer and revealed that she wanted to face stars such as Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez on the main roster before walking away into the sunset.
“I want to [wrestle] for as long as I can. I don’t want to go overboard, but I’ve still got some time left. I want to be able to cement a legacy that’s lasting — hopefully, I’ll be around when Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez (current NXT stars) get here so I can wrestle them and fulfill my big old ego.”
Considering Bayley is just 35 years old, it's safe to assume fans would get to see her perform for a few more years before she calls it quits on her in-ring career.
