Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell spoke about Chelsea Green's appearance on TV this week. The star accompanied Piper Niven for her match on SmackDown. A veteran of the industry was impressed with the Women's United States Champion.

Michin put down Piper Niven in a huge upset this week. She planted the star with Eat Defeat, sending out a strong message to Chelsea Green who was watching the action from ringside.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell explained that he enjoyed watching the Women's United States Champion on screen. He felt her short appearance on TV furthered her story with Michin. The wrestling veteran felt Michin needed the win this week and beating Piper Niven was the best way to do it.

"Was Chelsea Green on the screen? I liked it. She don't gotta do nothing. Just be herself. They're telling the story. Piper Niven got beat, doesn't hurt her. Michin needed a win just to stay relative. It accomplished what they set out for it to do." [From 29:32 onwards]

Michin has already made it clear that she wants the Women's United States Title.

It will be interesting to see how Green's United States Championship run pans out as WWE makes its way to WrestleMania 41.
