A former WWE star shared a potential return tease today on social media. The star in question has not competed in a match since the August 3 edition of TNA Impact.
Steph De Lander is currently aligned with former WWE star Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) but has been on the shelf for the past few months with a neck injury. The veteran took to social media today to tease her comeback and shared a selfie while working out in the gym. You can check out the photo in her post below.
"First time back at my CrossFit gym since my surgeries. Claiming my life back one step at a time. Comeback loading… 😎," she wrote.
Steph De Lander spent some time in WWE from 2021-2022 and competed under the name Persia Pirotta. Matt Cardona recently battled Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle 2024 but came up short.
Steph De Lander sent a heartfelt message following her injury and noted that she had a lot left to do in the professional wrestling business.
The 27-year-old appeared on TNA Impact earlier this year and stated that she was not giving a retirement speech. The veteran shared that she had to go away for a while due to her injuries but made sure to point out that she was not saying goodbye.
"This isn't a retirement because I am not done yet. I have more to give to this business, I have more to give to this company. And I have more to give to each and every single one of you. So this, this is not a goodbye. This is, I'll see you later. And until then, thank you guys, and I love you," she said. [From 00:01 - 00:39]

Steph De Lander never captured a title during her time in WWE. She signed with TNA Wrestling in 2023 and has also made a name for herself on the independent wrestling scene alongside Matt Cardona. It will be interesting to see when the Australian star will be cleared to return to the ring.
