Xavier Woods, Big E, and Kofi Kingston came together to form one of the most dominant and longstanding factions of all time in WWE. The trio has now reached a major milestone, completing 10 years together as The New Day.
The group's foundation was laid in July 2014 after Xavier Woods approached Kofi Kingston and Big E following their string of losses. However, the faction disappeared from WWE programming for months before returning in November of that year.
The trio made its on-screen debut as a group on November 28, 2014. They defeated Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, and Titus O'Neil in their first match as The New Day. Congratulations are in order as they are now celebrating the 10th anniversary of their in-ring debut as a stable.
WWE will also honor Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E for the milestone, as next week's RAW will celebrate 10 years of The New Day. The group has won the tag team title on 12 occasions, with E and Kingston also winning the WWE Championship once each.
While The New Day has been standing strong for almost a decade, there has been dissension within the group in the past several weeks. Xavier Woods has hinted towards a heel turn on multiple occasions. The former King of the Ring even got involved in a heated argument with Kofi Kingston this past Monday on RAW, where both men exchanged tough words.
Many expect Big E to make a return next week during the group's 10-year anniversary celebration to sort out the issues between the two.
The powerhouse has majorly stayed away from weekly TV shows since suffering a career-altering injury in 2022. However, numerous reports have confirmed that the former champion will indeed make his return on RAW next week. WrestleVotes even reported that multiple ideas have been presented for a Big E appearance on Monday. What happens on the show is still to be seen.
