MVP's time in WWE came to an end earlier this year. He has since joined All Elite Wrestling and attempted to recruit Swerve Strickland to join his faction alongside Shelton Benjamin. However, the former AEW World Champion declared his loyalty to Prince Nana and rejected MVP's offer at the WrestleDream pay-per-view this past weekend.

Brody King reveals what he told former WWE star MVP during his AEW debut

The House of Black's Brody King recently shared what he told MVP during his debut with All Elite Wrestling.

Darby Allin defeated Brody King in a singles match last weekend at AEW WrestleDream 2024. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, King noted that MVP helped him earlier in his career. The 37-year-old added that he welcomed the former United States Champion to All Elite Wrestling and gave him a hug.

"If anybody knows my career, I've actually had a lot of history with MVP. We wrestled in MLW. When I was on the indies, he was one of the first persons to take me under his wing. I would consider him a mentor, he gave me a lot of advice when I was very young in the business. So when I saw him show up in AEW, it was as much a surprise to me as it was to the audience. And I walked up to him after it was done and said, 'Welcome to AEW. I'm glad you're here.' Gave him a hug and a handshake," said Brody King (From 05:38 to 06:22)

Bobby Lashley also exited WWE earlier this year and is rumored to be joining MVP and Shelton Benjamin in All Elite Wrestling. It will be interesting to see what AEW has planned for the former WWE stars in the weeks ahead on Dynamite.
