A former WWE Superstar recently criticized Triple H for inserting himself into the company's storylines. The King of Kings currently serves as the company's Chief Content Officer.
Speaking on The Stevie Richards Show, the WWE veteran took The Game to task for making so many television appearances. Richards noted that The Cerebral Assassin can no longer perform in the ring for medical reasons but has been seen several times in recent weeks.
The former WWE Superstar questioned why the legend had to confront Kevin Owens after he attacked Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event last month.
“And dare I say, Triple H has been everywhere. I’ve seen posts online—14, 15 different things—and it’s all about Triple H. This is still my theory: these guys, at any level, cannot let go. Triple H obviously can’t perform because of his medical issues, but I keep going back to the Saturday Night’s Main Event thing," he said.
Richards suggested that the 55-year-old inserting himself into storylines was harming the product.
"It’s like… you talk about money marks? This feels like a promoter putting himself on top of an indie show. Everywhere you turn, it’s Triple H. And if they’re trying to stick it to Vince with all this, they’re only damaging the product themselves," he added. [H/T: Ringside News]

Wrestling legend Teddy Long suggested that Triple H's creative team would eventually air edgier content on Netflix.
On a recent edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Long stated that while the company will be sticking to family-friendly content on the streaming platform for now, he believed that could change in the future. The veteran suggested that if fans tuned in to see edgier content, sponsors wouldn't have an issue with it.
"They're gonna keep it family friendly but I'm telling you right now brother, they are gonna cross the line. The sponsors are gonna look at it like this. The sponsors are gonna go with what's drawing the money, what's drawing the viewers. So that's how that's gonna work." [From 1:12 onwards]
