John Cena's final WWE run will be a roller coaster ride, as The Leader of Cenation has no plans to step out of retirement. Meanwhile, the current Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker, made a bold claim if the 16-time World Champion tries to come near his title.
The Leader of Cenation held multiple titles and became the franchise player of the Stamford-based promotion for over a decade. However, the veteran never won the Intercontinental Championship in his career, as he was often on a different brand and didn't get a shot at the workhorse title.
In an interview on Ringside Fest 2024, the host stated a possible scenario where John Cena would come after the title before retiring in 2025. The two-time NXT Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion, and former NXT Tag Team Champion made a bold claim and stated if he did, he wouldn't get to finish 2025:
"If I were him [John Cena], I would choose anyone else. So that he can make it till the end of the year and not be beaten up. If he faces me, he's not going to make it through... I don't foresee anybody beating me for the Intercontinental Championship for a long time. So, if that's something a goal of his that he wants to accomplish before he's done, I'm really sorry, but he's probably going to retire without doing that," Breakker said. (From 36:00 to 36:48)

Contrary to popular belief, John Cena won't return to the Stamford-based promotion for a three-month tour leading up to WrestleMania 41. The Leader of Cenation will return on Monday Night RAW when the show debuts on Netflix.
John Cena's retirement tour is planned for a year, with the final date in December 2025. The 16-time WWE World Champion will appear at Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41, which would be his final appearances for those PLEs as an active performer for WWE under Triple H's leadership.
The veteran will most likely make weekly and monthly appearances before he wraps up his ongoing storylines or potential title run in the Stamford-based company. It'll be interesting to see which star would be his last opponent in the WWE.
