A popular TNA star recently challenged WWE Hall of Famer JBL to a match. The legend has not been in action since he competed in the Men's Royal Rumble Match in 2014.
John Bradshaw Layfield has been helping Nic Nemeth (formerly known as Dolph Ziggler) during his reign as TNA World Champion in recent weeks. Nemeth has claimed that he has no idea why Bradshaw had decided to help him.
Speaking on Rewind, Recap, Relive, TNA star Frankie Kazarian issued a challenge to the WWE legend. Kazarian noted that if JBL wanted to compete in TNA, he would be the first to sign up for a match against him.
"John's a very smart man. I'm not going to claim to know what he's up to. But look, I'm a fan of John Layfield, and if he wants to continue to bring his presence and stick his nose in our business, that's fine, but if he's going to what he has on me, he's got to be expecting a receipt, the terminology we use. So, John, you're welcome. You're welcome into my locker room anytime, but you're also opening yourself up to get punched in the jaw. So, if John has aspirations of getting in the ring and mixing it up in TNA, sign me up," said Kazarian. [H/T: Fightful]

WWE legend JBL recently shared his thoughts on John Cena announcing that he would be retiring from the ring in 2025.
The Leader of Cenation made a surprise appearance at Money in the Bank earlier this year to announce that next year would be his final year in the ring. Speaking on the Something to Wrestle podcast, the 58-year-old stated that he wished John Cena never had to retire. He added that he loved Cena and wished that he could be in the company forever.
"Cena, I love the guy," JBL said. "I hope he gets the 17th championship. I think it would be cool to see that broken. I think his story could be fun. I just hate that he's retiring. I'm gonna love every second of it, I don't wanna pour cold water on it, but I wish guys like that were with us forever." [12:56 – 13:14]
