The Judgment Day is arguably the most popular WWE stable on RAW today and is at the center of several narratives at once. Two of its members, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, are the reigning World Tag Team Champions on the red brand.
Balor and McDonagh won the gold from The Miz and R-Truth on the June 24, 2024, episode of WWE RAW to much fanfare. However, their reign so far has disappointed many fans as their titles are seldom on the line. The duo's last defense came on RAW's September 16, episode, where they defeated The New Day.
A Twitter account recently shared an unfortunate stat, mentioning how Finn Balor and JD McDonagh had hit 150 days as champions by defending their World Tag Team Championships just once until now. Check it out below:
Balor and McDonagh are now expected to be challenged by The Viking Raiders soon after the latter duo won a number one contender's tag team tournament on RAW a couple of weeks ago.
Though Judgment Day has consistently remained in the limelight over the last few years, they haven't been immune to inner turmoil. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, two of the biggest names on WWE RAW currently, were kicked out of the stable at SummerSlam.
Now, the faction is in the midst of another looming civil war with Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio often getting into arguments. Dominik and Carlito losing to The Viking Raiders on this week's RAW further angered Balor and McDonagh.
With the duo gearing up to put their titles on the line, they would be hoping to receive timely support from their Judgment Day stablemates. There's no doubt if Balor and McDonagh were to lose, it could further dent their relationship with other members of the faction and potentially set the stage for a breakup.
