Rhea Ripley seemingly concluded her rivalry with Liv Morgan on WWE RAW last night, as she defeated the latter to win back the Women's World Championship. With WrestleMania season approaching, wrestling veteran Vince Russo has said that Mami's opponent at The Showcase of The Immortals this year could either be Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch.
Both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have been away from WWE programming for the last several months. While The Queen has been dealing with an injury since December 2023, The Man's contract expired in June 2024. However, both are reportedly close to making their returns.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo stated that either Charlotte or Becky could face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41, as there are no other credible opponents left.
"I would have to think it’s gotta be Charlotte or Becky because those are the only two that are gonna mean anything. Bianca Belair, maybe? But she’s doing the thing with Naomi now. I would think that Charlotte and Becky are the only two that make sense," he said. [From 26:09 onwards]
After coming up short against Morgan on multiple occasions, Rhea Ripley overcame the odds on RAW's season premiere on Netflix last night to win back the Women's World Title. It will be interesting to see how she fares as champion in the coming weeks.
