The WWE Superstars of the PG and Reality eras are widely recognized as two of the more similar rosters of recent periods. They feature names like John Cena and Dolph Ziggler, The Shield and The Bar, Charlotte Flair, and Michelle McCool, among others. Matt Cardona made his name as Zack Ryder showered major praise on a sometimes-forgotten talent from his era.
JTG began his pro wrestling career in 2006 after signing a WWE developmental contract to work at OVW. He quickly formed The Gang Stars with Shad Gaspard, and they became two-time OVW Southern Tag Team Champions before being called to the main roster as Cryme Tyme.
While Shad and JTG never held main roster gold, they became fan favorites and worked with names like John Cena. The duo split and started to feud until Gaspard was sent to FCW, which put JTG on a solo path. He was released on June 12, 2014, and has worked for the NWA and various independent promotions ever since.
Just Too Good worked his final WWE match in late September 2013, a loss to Santino Marella on Superstars. This came after Santino had defeated JTG on WWE Superstars twice in 2011 in their only singles bouts. The Brooklyn native had been on his way out of World Wrestling Entertainment, but the way he sold for The Cobra in the final match with Santino played a factor in the decision to release him.
A fan shared the clip on X/Twitter this week, which garnered a response from the former Zack Ryder. Cardona's five-word reply led to numerous fan remarks, most of which seem to agree with his opinion.
"JTG doesn't get enough love," Matt Cardona wrote.

JTG made his first WWE appearance in eight years at the 2022 Hall of Fame ceremony. He stood with Shad's wife and son for the posthumous Warrior Award presentation.
JTG has been gone from World Wrestling Entertainment since 2013 but continues to work for different promotions, including the NWA, GCW, XPW, and others. The inaugural Shad Gaspard Memorial Cup was held earlier this year, live on FiteTV from Jacksonville, to honor the former WWE Superstar, who tragically passed away on May 17, 2020.
The eight-man tournament honored Gaspard, as the winner received The Beast Award, and proceeds were to benefit The Love-Alive Charity. KC Navarro defeated Robert Martyr in the opener, while JTG defeated Thom Latimer via count-out. Prince Agballah advanced over General Obazo, while Kenny King defeated TIM to wrap up the first round.
Agballah then defeated Navarro, and JTG defeated King, but the former Cryme Tyme member beat Agballah in the finals to reign supreme.
Cryme Tyme were two-time OVW Southern Tag Team Champions and one-time NWA Wildside Tag Team Champions, with more than a half-dozen indie championship reigns.
