Netflix sends former WWE star a Roman Reigns message; Potential blockbuster return not teased

Netflix just sent a former WWE star a message about Roman Reigns. However, there was no mention of him making a return to the company.

Matt Cardona is one of the best independent wrestlers in the world who has been busy making a name for himself across various promotions. He even recently competed for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle. Cardona has ties to WWE even after his release since his wife, Chelsea Green, works for the Stamford-based promotion. Hence, his return has been teased multiple times in the past. While WWE has not signed him yet, Netflix decided to use him for something interesting.

RAW is set to debut on Netflix on January 6, 2025. As a result, the streaming platform ran a campaign on X to promote its newest show. As part of the campaign, they tagged Matt Cardona in one of their posts where they promoted Roman Reigns' appearance on the January 6 episode of RAW. The OTC will square off against Solo Sikoa on red brand's premiere show.

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan will settle their score on WWE RAW's debut on Netflix

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan have been feuding over the past year. It started with Morgan seeking revenge against Mami for injuring her in 2023. Liv not only injured Rhea but also won the Women's World Championship and got Judgment Day to turn against Mami.

Since then, Rhea Ripley has been trying to get her hands on Liv Morgan but every attempt she made has been thwarted by Dominik Mysterio or Raquel Rodriguez. However, Mami has remained steadfast in her pursuit of the Women's World Championship. She will get one more chance on RAW's debut on Netflix when she faces Liv Morgan for the title in a Last Woman Standing match.

It will be interesting to see whether Rhea Ripley will finally be able to get her revenge on Liv Morgan.
