Paul Heyman sent a heartfelt message to a major star today following last night's edition of WWE RAW. The Wiseman made his triumphant return to WWE television this past Friday night on SmackDown after being on hiatus for several months.

Last night on the red brand, actor and singer Vanessa Hudgens was shown in the crowd. The star showed her support for Roman Reigns by putting the ones up. Hudgens was also sporting a Reigns t-shirt last night on RAW.

Heyman gave a shout-out to Vanessa earlier today and followed it up with another heartfelt message. The Hall of Famer noted that Hudgens had great taste in clothing and praised her for acknowledging the Original Tribal Chief.

"My compliments to @VanessaHudgens for having the exquisite taste not only to wear a @WWERomanReigns t-shirt but to also ACKNOWLEDGE THE (ONLY) (ORIGINAL) TRIBAL CHIEF!" he wrote.

Heyman announced that CM Punk would be Roman Reigns' final teammate for the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series. Reigns previously tried to call Heyman on SmackDown earlier this month, but it was revealed that Heyman's phone was no longer in service.

Former WWE writer criticizes Paul Heyman following his return on SmackDown

Wrestling legend Vince Russo poked fun at Paul Heyman following his WWE return and revealed why he couldn't take him seriously.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown show, available via Backstage Pass, Russo stated that The Wiseman looked like he had spent too much time in a tanning bed ahead of his return. The veteran added that he could not take Heyman seriously due to how much his appearance had changed since the last time he was seen on television.

"Bro, I can't take a 60-something-year-old seriously who's been lying in a freaking tanning bed all week. Paul, stop! 60-year-olds don't lay [sic] in freaking tanning beds!" he said. [From 32:55 onwards]

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman did not interact at all this past Friday night on SmackDown. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series this Saturday and if Heyman has an ulterior motive for adding CM Punk to Reigns' team.
