WWE stars often work on several projects outside of the Stamford-based wrestling promotion while being under a contract with the global juggernaut. A popular name has recently revealed that she also had outside projects that she was working on.
WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley is currently in her second run with the Stamford-based company. The 36-year-old first signed with the promotion in 2016. However, she left in 2020 before returning two years later in 2022.
During a recent appearance on the #B4theBell podcast, Kelley spoke about several things, including her journey into WWE, the talents she likes to work with the most, and more. Although she did not share any details, the backstage interviewer revealed she was excited about her upcoming projects outside of the wrestling promotion.
"I mean, you can watch me on Monday Night RAW every Monday night and we've got Survivor Series coming up. So, check out that PLE. I have a couple of things outside of WWE that I'm very excited for, that I don't know that I can share yet, but I will be posting them on my socials," said Cathy Kelley. [From 1:09:22 to 1:09:36]

Cathy Kelley and Kevin Owens were involved in an accident in Saudi Arabia while riding a dune buggy ahead of the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.
Earlier on the same podcast, Kelley opened up about her conversation with Sami Zayn after the accident. She told Kevin Owens about the weird conversation she had with The Underdog From The Underground. Cathy Kelley further agreed with KO telling her that Zayn was jealous of them.
"Sami Zayn, after this dune buggy incident, actually came up to me, and he was, I couldn't tell if it was concern or not. but he was like, ‘Yeah, a lot of people say that they flipped multiple times, but it's really only like once, and you don't realize.’ And I was like, ‘This just feels like such a weird conversation,’ as opposed to like, ‘Are you okay?’ And I talked to Kevin about it after, and he goes, ‘It sounds like Sami's jealous.’ Which honestly makes a lot of sense, so not jealous of any injury sustained, but jealous that we had this story to tell," Kelley said. Kevin Owens is currently involved in a heated rivalry with Cody Rhodes. The two former friends will reportedly compete for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event scheduled for December 14.
