A popular WWE Superstar took to social media to call out a wrestling fan online today for a major botch. The promotion is currently on the road to WWE Survivor Series: WarGames next Saturday night in Vancouver, Canada.
Ashante "Thee" Adonis responded to a wrestling fan today on social media and corrected a major botch. The former Hit Row member reacted to a fan wishing him a Happy Birthday and noted that the message was incorrect. The veteran claimed that his birthday was yesterday, and you can check out his message in the post below.
"My Birthday Is Nov 23. The Internet Is Wrong Once Again," he wrote.
Hit Row was a faction in WWE that featured Ashante "Thee" Adonis, AJ "Top Dolla" Francis, and B-Fab. Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland also used to be a part of the faction as well. The stable never managed to connect with wrestling fans, and the group was disbanded.
AJ "Top Dolla" Francis recently discussed his release by the company. The veteran was let go by the promotion last year and currently competes for TNA Wrestling.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, the former Hit Row member commented on being released by the promotion. Top Dolla's last match for the company saw him team up with Ahsante "Thee" Adonis and B-Fab in a loss to Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Zelina Vega at WWE Live Event on September 10, 2023. The 34-year-old noted that the promotion didn't want him, but that could change down the line.
"I am more than grateful for my time in WWE but, like I said, man, they don't want me. They made that clear. They don't want me. That's cool, bro. You don't have to. You don't think you need me, you don't need me. They're doing record numbers. They don't need me. But here's the thing, a lot of people could use my services, and a lot of people will and have already started to." [6:16 – 6:38]
