Popular WWE star having real-life heat with Jade Cargill could be behind attack, suggests former employee (Exclusive) 

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently spoke about Jade Cargill getting laid out on SmackDown. The star was attacked by a mystery assailant this past Friday.

Cargill was rushed to a medical facility after the senseless attack. Jade's tag team partner, Bianca Belair, abandoned her Women's United States Championship first-round match and accompanied her in the ambulance.

This week on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo revealed that there were rumors about backstage heat between Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. He felt the storyline could mimic real life, with The EST of WWE revealed as the attacker. He even added that it could be a compelling storyline if WWE booked it correctly and got enough heat on Belair.

"Yeah, I think the word on the street is that there's some heat between the two of them in the back. I think yes, that's gonna be the storyline." He continued, "I think Bianca did it. So if Bianca did it, she's gonna be the heel." [From 8:12 onwards]

An important point is that Bianca was in a Triple Threat Match on SmackDown when Jade Cargill was attacked.

It will be interesting to see if Russo's prediction comes true and how WWE retcons the entire storyline to have Belair as the assailant.
