The OG Bloodline finally completed its team for the upcoming Men's WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. However, WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggested Roman Reigns could fall victim to a massive betrayal at the premium live event.
Last Friday, Paul Heyman returned after several months of absence to introduce CM Punk as the fifth member of Team Roman for the Men's WarGames Match this Saturday. After the OG Bloodline came out on top in a brawl, all team members posed in the ring. While the faction members did the signature Bloodline gesture, CM Punk did his GTS one.
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts analyzed the picture of the OG Bloodline and The Second City Saint posing inside the ring. He pointed out that while most of the members were looking toward the crowd, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso were "side-eying" Reigns. The RAW Talk host suggested their facial expressions may have been a subtle hint of them betraying the Original Tribal Chief in the Men's WarGames Match this weekend.
"Sami and Jey have the exact same facial expression when they're looking at Roman Reigns. They're not looking straight ahead. They're not looking self-assured. They're side-eying Roman Reigns as if to say, 'Who knows?' Let's wildly speculate. As if to say, 'Are you sure you know what you're doing, Tribal Chief? Are you in control, Tribal Chief?' Or maybe, 'We've got our own plan that we're gonna execute once we get in this cage," he said.
The 41-year-old stated that while Zayn and Jey were seemingly on the same page, they did not appear to be aligned with the rest of the team. He said:
"They're aligned here, but they don't appear to be aligned with the rest of the people in the ring. Are they gonna sit there and do something, or are they just looking at Roman Reigns for their cue? Any of those things could be true." [13:37-14:33]
As he continued discussing the topic on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts questioned why Sami Zayn posted the photo in question on his social media accounts.
While the RAW Talk host did not rule out that Zayn may have posted the photo just because he was proud of the team, Sam claimed the former WWE Intercontinental Champion might have been subtly trying to send a message.
"The fact is that Sami Zayn tweeted this photo out. And maybe he tweeted this photo out because he's proud of the six-person group that stands before this audience. And maybe he tweeted it out because he's telling you something with his face and Jey Uso is telling you the same thing; don't know," he said. [14:33-14:58]
The new Bloodline defeated Roman Reigns and The Usos at WWE Crown Jewel. It will be interesting to see if Team Roman comes out on top in the Men's WarGames Match in Canada.
