Roman Reigns is expected to have a massive match at WWE WrestleMania 41. A wrestling veteran recently predicted The OTC would square off with a legend.
Last night, The Rock returned to hype up WWE RAW's move to Netflix. Meanwhile, he acknowledged his cousin, Roman Reigns, as The Only Tribal Chief. After Reigns' victory over Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat, The Final Boss headed to the ring and placed the Ula Fala around the former Undisputed WWE Champion's neck. The two had a brief face-off before they hugged as The Rock told his cousin he loved him.
Despite recent reports suggesting the 52-year-old legend might not be at WrestleMania 41 and his actions last night seemingly supporting these rumors, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan still believes otherwise. Speaking on the Gigantic Pop podcast, the former superstar predicted The Rock vs. Reigns will still happen at the Show of Shows:
"In my humble opinion, I'm just calling it now, I do think we will see Rock vs. Roman at this next 'Mania. I do," he said. [26:47 - 26:53]
The Rock's actions on RAW's debut on Netflix came as a surprise to many fans as he seemingly turned babyface and praised his former rival Cody Rhodes and his cousin Roman Reigns.
On the Gigantic Pop podcast, Matt Morgan claimed The Final Boss came out as his real self to do his job as a member of the board of directors, hyping up RAW's move to Netflix. Meanwhile, he claimed the company still can set up a match for him at WrestleMania:
''He had to do that, right? That was a main part of WWE coming to Netflix. 'Hey, you're gonna get The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, who just hosted [the Golden Globes], and he's coming to your show on Netflix the next night!' 'What?' So, he had to play the game. He had to kiss everybody's a** that is a part of Netflix.''
It would be interesting to see if The Final Boss will indeed be present at this year's Showcase of the Immortals.
