Indie wrestling sensation Vinny Pacifico recently spoke about catching up with WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre. The two met at an event back in 2015.
Pacifico burst onto the scene at the Warriors of Wrestling Royal Rumble match back in 2015. Since then, the star has competed in several promotions such as NJPW, AEW, and even WWE.
This week on the UnSKripted podcast, Pacifico joined Dr. Chris Featherstone and Bill Apter. He mentioned that The Scottish Warrior was at the Warriors of Wrestling event. He recalled how McIntyre helped him with a lot of advice. Vinny recalled that McIntyre was lovely and went out of his way to help him.
"It was a really fun debut. Marq Quen was in there, Drew McIntyre was in there as well." He continued, "Great guy. After the show, he talked to me. He's a wonderful person. Great guy. So giving of his time. That's something that I appreciate. They don't have to do anything for us, the veterans. They don't have to give us advice, they don't have to do these things. But they go out of their way and do it." [From 7:25 onwards]
Drew McIntyre is currently one of the biggest names on the WWE roster. He recently ended a major feud with CM Punk. The star returned to the red brand a few weeks ago and has started a feud attacking top babyfaces like Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn.
