The WWE RAW brand is gearing up for the launch of the Netflix era. The company's flagship TV show will air live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on the first Monday of the new year, and several stars have been announced already. Now Triple H has revealed another A-list name set for the big event.
RAW and SmackDown Superstars will invade the new Intuit Dome near Los Angeles on Monday, January 6, 2025, for the RAW premiere on Netflix. This will mark the official kickoff to the massive new 10-year deal between the Stamford-based wrestling promotion and the streaming giant, worth $500 million per year. Rapper Travis Scott is set to provide the new RAW theme song, and he will be at the live show on January 6, as many celebrities are when World Wrestling Entertainment runs shows in the Los Angeles area.
Actress Vanessa Hudgens is a noted WWE fan and was at Monday's RAW in Arizona. Triple H took to X today to share footage of the High School Musical actress backstage at RAW, including a shot of the two watching the backstage segment featuring Karrion Kross and Scarlett. The Chief Content Officer then seemingly confirmed Hudgens for RAW on January 6.
"Thanks for stopping by #WWERaw this week, @VanessaHudgens. Bring that same energy to the @netflix premiere in Los Angeles this January," Triple H wrote with the video below.
Surprise guests were promised by the company for the first RAW of 2025. John Cena was also confirmed for the Netflix premiere, as this will be where he officially kicks off his farewell campaign. The following superstars were announced for January 6: Gunther, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Liv Morgan, and Bianca Belair.
World Wrestling Entertainment will return to Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington, for next Monday's RAW. This show will feature fallout from Survivor Series: WarGames, as well as more build to Saturday Night's Main Event.
The December 2 RAW will focus on The New Day's 10th Anniversary Celebration. Sources previously noted that the group filmed content for the celebration at WWE HQ, but it was also said that Big E will be live on RAW for a segment with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
The tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion will begin next Monday, but participants have not been named. While not confirmed, PWInsider reports that several SmackDown Superstars are booked to be at RAW for unknown reasons, including Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa.
