"Very Trish Stratus-inspired" - Liv Morgan recalls her historic championship win in WWE
Liv Morgan recently recalled winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Raquel Rodriguez. In 2023, Morgan and Rodriguez defeated Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch to win the title.
Morgan and Rodriguez are two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. Their victory over Lynch and Stratus marked The Miracle Kid's first tag team title win. They were forced to vacate the gold after the 30-year-old suffered a shoulder injury.
In an interview with Inside The Ropes Magazine, Morgan recalled sharing the ring with Trish Stratus and winning the Women's Tag Team Championship from her.
"Oh, for sure. That was actually my second time in the ring with Trish. But it’s safe to say I never conceivably thought that I’d be wrestling against Trish Stratus, let alone win a championship of her. A lot of my moveset early on was very Trish Stratus-inspired. So when I gave myself a moment to really appreciate what it was that I was doing, it really was a pinch-me moment. These moments that you never thought you’d have, and all of a sudden here you are face to face with them and you’re just like, 'Whoa, how did we get here? How did we finesse this?'" Morgan said.
In the title match against The Judgment Day duo last year, Trish Stratus replaced Lita after the latter suffered an injury as part of a storyline. However, the Canadian legend wasn't recognized as a champion.

Liv Morgan will team up with Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae for the Women's WarGames match at the upcoming Survivor Series Premium Live Event.
In a chat with WWE Deutschland, Morgan discussed eight things fans can expect from the upcoming WarGames bout, including chaos, mayhem, and violence.
"[What can we expect at WarGames?] Chaos, mayhem, violence, disruption, lots of physicality, some broken hearts, some tears, not from my team of course. And you can expect your greatest Women's World Champion of all time to be standing tall above the rest of those pathetic loser wanna-be bodies as I kiss my ring."
Liv Morgan and her allies will face the team of Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Naomi, and IYO SKY.
