John Cena kicked off his farewell tour on WWE RAW's debut on Netflix. Former 24/7 Champion Peter Rosenberg recently addressed whether The Cenation Leader would win his 17th world championship in his last run as an in-ring competitor.

The 47-year-old legend is currently tied with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair for the most world championship reigns recognized by the Stamford-based company at 16. In his promo on RAW, Cena claimed winning his 17th world title would be almost impossible with his current singles losing streak.

Cena later revealed that he would enter the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match for a chance to challenge for a world championship at WrestleMania 41.

On his Cheap Heat podcast, Rosenberg predicted that Cena will win his 17th world championship before hanging up his boots, breaking his and The Nature Boy's historic record.

"It's the 17th. He's getting the 17th. I mean, there's just too much upside to him being the guy," he said. [37:44 - 37:57]

John Cena could drop the World Heavyweight Title to top WWE star, suggests Peter Rosenberg

On the same episode of the Cheap Heat podcast, Peter Rosenberg discussed the possibility of John Cena ending Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship reign.

The 45-year-old claimed The Cenation Leader could capture the World Heavyweight Championship before losing it to Jey Uso.

"I mean, it depends if Cena ends up going Gunther, right? If Cena gets it from Gunther, I don't know, is there a world in which Jey could take it off Cena?" Rosenberg said.
