While The Rock is not on the active WWE scene at the moment, Bully Ray recently put forth his theory that a legendary name could return with him as his manager. However, veteran journalist Bill Apter doesn't think it's possible.

The legendary name being talked about is none other than Paul Heyman, who was attacked by Solo Sikoa on his last WWE appearance. Considering how Reigns was unable to get in touch with The Wiseman, many are speculating that the latter may no longer be an ally of the Tribal Chief. This has led to Bully Ray proposing that Heyman may now return as The Rock's manager.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter disagreed with Bully Ray and stated:

"Paul Heyman being a manager of The Rock, I can't see that happening. The Rock doesn't need that presence of someone else with him. Not at all. I don't know what Bully Ray is coming from with that." [From 9:41 onwards]

Bill Apter thinks Paul Heyman has changed sides to join another WWE Star

According to Bill Apter, something surprising is being planned for Paul Heyman, which will catch almost all fans unaware.

On a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted, Apter suggested that perhaps Paul Heyman would side with Solo Sikoa when he returned to WWE. This would also explain why The Wiseman did not get in touch with Roman Reigns despite the latter's efforts.

"I think Paul Heyman, storyline-wise, changed the phone number. And I think the man who has that phone number is Solo Sikoa. (...) This is pro wrestling, you never know what's going to happen. Maybe The Wiseman has wised up, and he is now going to support the Solo Sikoa Tribal Chief part of The Bloodline." [From 5:22 onwards]

Now fans will have to stay tuned to see what Paul Heyman plans to do in the Stamford-based promotion.
