A legendary former WWE champion recently took to social media to tease his massive return to the ring after almost four years and sent a threat to The Rock. The legend being referred to is The Hurricane, also known as Shane Helms.
The 50-year-old started his professional wrestling career with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2001 and made a big name by winning several titles, including the Cruiserweight Championship, the European Championship, the Hardcore Championship, and the World Tag Team Championship.
However, The Hurricane's first stint ended with the company in 2010 but he returned to the Stamford-based promotion in 2018 and is currently working in a backstage role. Although the legend has retired from in-ring competition, he last competed at the Royal Rumble on January 31, 2021.
Meanwhile, The Rock recently made his massive return to WWE on RAW's Netflix debut. The Brahma Bull also made an appearance on this week's NXT, where he went face-to-face with Ethan Page in a backstage segment.
Following this, The Hurricane recently took to X/Twitter to threaten The People's Champion and Page. In his post, Shane Helms uploaded two throwback photos of him choking The Final Boss and the former WWE NXT Champion. Helms also asked the two stars to protect their necks, possibly teasing his massive in-ring return.
"Protect ya neck. Capes Rule Everything Around Me. @TheRock @OfficialEGO #SBTAHCT," he wrote.

Following his backstage segment with The Rock on WWE NXT, Ethan Page took to X/Twitter to upload a video highlighting The Brahma Bull's comment on him, before mentioning that he believed The Final Boss knew what Page was "cooking."
"You know, Shawn Michaels? Not a fan. Triple H, not a fan. Nick Khan, I’m assuming not a fan. The Final Boss seems to get what I got going on. Hell, he even said I had a sweet a**. I guess we could say that The Final Boss smells what Ethan Page is cooking," Page said.
