Roman Reigns has been the biggest name on WWE SmackDown for the last five years. While the OTC is no longer as active inside the squared circle as he used to be, he is still the biggest draw for the brand. However, his run on the blue brand could end, and the same may be announced on the upcoming show.
Reigns has been a part of SmackDown since 2019. He had the best run of his career on the blue brand, where he aligned with Paul Heyman and went on to hold the Universal Championship for 1,316 days. He also established The Bloodline as one of the greatest factions of all time. However, multiple outlets have reported that the Head of the Table will move to Monday Night RAW as the flagship show will air on Netflix.
Last week's RAW also confirmed the same as Roman Reigns wrestled Solo Sikoa on the brand's debut episode on Netflix. With the Samoan all but possibly set to leave the Friday Night show, General Manager Nick Aldis could make the unfortunate move official on the blue brand tonight.
Roman Reigns' move to RAW will be a big blow to SmackDown as the Tribal Chief is currently the biggest name in WWE. However, aside from Cody Rhodes, another name could fill in the OTC's shoes.
Drew McIntyre was present on SmackDown last week, where he seemingly hinted about his move to the brand. The Scottish Warrior is one of the most suitable names to replace Reigns, as he carries immense star power.
Aside from Drew McIntyre, WWE could also call upon Brock Lesnar to add more star power to the blue brand. However, The Beast Incarnate's return is majorly dependent on him getting cleared by the company's legal team. The former Universal Champion has been away since SummerSlam 2023. His return plans were nixed after he was seemingly alluded to in the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon.
