WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is reportedly set to be a major fixture on Monday Night RAW in 2025. The red brand's show will debut on Netflix on January 6.

The American Nightmare had been a RAW Superstar from his return all the way until WrestleMania XL. However, it changed after he defeated Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Showcase of Immortals. Since the title belonged to Friday Night SmackDown, he was subsequently transferred to the blue brand.

Earlier today, a wrestling fan asked Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select whether Cody Rhodes would move to RAW or stay on SmackDown. In response, SRS noted that it would be surprising if the 39-year-old does not feature regularly on the red brand's show. He also mentioned that Netflix had asked for Rhodes to be featured on RAW.

Cody Rhodes is set to defend his title at WWE Royal Rumble

Cody Rhodes is involved in a heated rivalry with Kevin Owens. The Prizefighter turned heel at Bad Blood and attacked the Undisputed WWE Champion backstage after the show because he teamed up with Roman Reigns to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at the premium live event.

KO challenged Rhodes for the title last month at Saturday Night's Main Event. Although the champion retained the gold after a controversial finish, Owens attacked him after the match. The former Universal Champion hit Cody with a package piledriver and left the arena with the Winged Eagle Title belt.

On last week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Rhodes demanded to face his arch-rival in a ladder match. The blue brand's General Manager, Nick Aldis, obliged and announced the championship match for Royal Rumble.

Rhodes has competed in eight ladder matches in his career. Surprisingly, The American Nightmare has yet to win one. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble.
