Brock Lesnar is one of the most popular superstars in WWE history. The Beast has been absent from the wrestling promotion for over a year.

On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins referenced The Beast during their segments. It led to the fans speculating the former World Champion's return to the squared circle.

However, a recent report from Fightful Select claimed that despite the rumors, the wrestling promotion has not considered bringing Brock Lesnar back as there are no creative plans in place for him at the moment.

The 47-year-old's last in-ring appearance was at SummerSlam 2023. Lesnar locked horns with Cody Rhodes at the Biggest Party of The Summer. The two put forth a highly entertaining contest, which ended with The American Nightmare securing the win.

Brock Lesnar was reportedly set to return to in-ring action in this year's Royal Rumble Match. However, the plans were scrapped after his name came up in the Janet Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon. He was immediately removed from all creative plans and has yet to appear on WWE television.

Major WWE Champion is open to working with Brock Lesnar

WWE Superstar Gunther has often expressed his desire to lock horns with Brock Lesnar inside the squared circle. The two had a face-off during the 2023 Royal Rumble match, which led to a thunderous reaction from the crowd. The two were reportedly set to compete at WrestleMania XL before The Beast was removed from all creative plans.

Speaking to GV Wire ahead of this year's Showcase of Immortals, Gunther pointed out that his opportunity to face Lesnar at WrestleMania, which he considered a dream match, has fallen through. However, The Ring General added that he was still open to competing with the former UFC Heavyweight Champion:

"[What would be your dream scenario for WrestleMania?] Obviously, I always was vocal about my dream match in the past but that fell through now. I don't think we're gonna, I don't know if we'll see Brock [Lesnar] again. If that's ever gonna happen. But I'm wide open when it comes to that as of now," he said. [From 09:36 to 09:57]
