Major update on Stephanie McMahon's WWE status - Reports

WWE has undergone significant changes in recent years, with major internal overhauls to various divisions, upgrades to the overall product, and new developmental programs, among others. The role of The McMahon family in WWE has also changed. Sources are now revealing the latest on Stephanie McMahon's status with the company.

The Billion Dollar Princess joined the former family business at age 13, then went on to work on-screen roles for World Wrestling Entertainment, while climbing the corporate ladder. She was named Chairwoman and Co-CEO when Vince McMahon retired in July 2022 but resigned six months later when her father returned. Vince's eventual exit came with major company changes. Stephanie has made a few appearances in the last year and has been present for different events.

The WWE Universe fueled rumors about Stephanie after an apparent leak by The Undertaker on her status earlier this year. There's now increased speculation on her status due to recent happenings. Furthermore, PWInsider reports that Stephanie has been spotted in the company HQ in Stamford, CT as of late.

McMahon's visits to WWE HQ seemingly suggest a new role in the works, but an insider claims that was not the case. Sources noted that as of this past week, the former women's champion still does not have an official role with the company, but she has been around lately.

Stephanie remains somewhat active on social media. She took to X this past week to congratulate her mother Linda McMahon on being nominated to lead the Department of Education by President-elect Trump.

World Wrestling Entertainment co-founders Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon have officially separated. The pro wrestling pioneers tied the knot back on August 26, 1966, and went on to have two children: Shane and Stephanie.

Vince and Linda have been rumored to have split since March 2022, but their relationship status was never confirmed. However, Linda's attorney just recently confirmed that the longtime partners are no longer together as they have separated, but no additional details were provided.

The split was confirmed during coverage of President Trump naming Linda as his Secretary of Education. The McMahons have been longtime Trump supporters, going back to before his political career.
