One of the biggest WWE Hall of Famers ever is set to make his return to the company soon. Despite a controversial past and recent appearances for AEW, Triple H and his creative team have reportedly booked the outspoken star for a special appearance. Sources are now revealing what's planned ahead of Survivor Series and Deadline.

Eric Bischoff began his legendary career in 1986, and found success with AWA, WCW, WWE, and TNA, along with various other ventures over the years, including brief cameo appearances with AEW in 2020-2021. The Hall of Famer has not been a regular on-screen character since 2012 in TNA, and WWE in 2006. Vince McMahon hired Bischoff to work as SmackDown Executive Director in June 2019, but he was replaced within months. Bischoff's last appearance was on January 21, 2022, in a backstage SmackDown segment with Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce.

Eazy E is now set to make his WWE NXT debut, according to Fightful Select. A new report ahead of tonight's live NXT episode noted that Bischoff is scheduled to appear on tonight's NXT broadcast via video.

Sources were not clear on what Bischoff will be doing, but it appears the former nWo boss will be kicking off a new program on World Wrestling Entertainment's third brand. There's also speculation on the one-time WCW Hardcore Champion potentially building to Deadline in some way like the fans saw last year with Lita, JBL, Mick Foley, and Jerry Lawler.

Tonight's NXT will open with Chase University's farewell celebration. Ethan Page vs. Axiom in a Men's Iron Survivor Challenge qualifier will air as the first match of the night, while Women's North American Champion Fallon Henley defending against Tatum Paxley is the planned main event. Lola Vice vs. Wren Sinclair is also planned but still hasn't been announced. Sources added that several of tonight's matches will include post-match promos.

North American Champion Tony D'Angelo defending his title against Shawn Spears was previously announced for tonight, but there's no word yet on where in the show this match will take place. Giulia vs. Kelani Jordan in a qualifier for the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge was also previously announced.
