WWE making a surprising change to Bron Breakker's character going forward - Reports (Exclusive)

Bron Breakker is red hot right now during his second reign as Intercontinental Champion. In what might come as a surprise, WWE is reportedly making a change to his onscreen character.

While on the main roster, especially after his move to RAW, Bron Breakker has been a heel. He has quickly risen through the ranks, dethroning Sami Zayn a few months ago before losing to and then regaining the title from Jey Uso.

On WrestleVotes Radio Exclusively on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC reported that WWE is planning to turn Breakker into a 'tweener' character, i.e., neither a babyface nor a heel. They stated that we could see Breakker wrestling like a heel while leaning into crowd reactions in his promos.

This reported change is arguably a bit surprising as he has been presented as a dominant heel on RAW. Perhaps it's a way of figuring out what direction to take with him in 2025.

WWE backstage officials' reaction to Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu revealed

Bron Breakker was able to regain the Intercontinental Championship courtesy of The Bloodline. However, there was one particular moment on RAW in October where the crowd popped massively during a face-off involving him and Jacob Fatu.

On an earlier episode of WrestleVotes Radio last month, JoeyVotes reported that WWE officials were stunned backstage at the reaction that the crowd gave when Breakker and Fatu faced off.

This almost certainly means that a major feud could happen down the line once both men become bigger stars. Right now, they're on different brands and are on a fast track to the top.

Many even believe that Jacob Fatu has overshadowed Solo Sikoa. Breakker, on the other hand, has a legacy to live up top as well but no group associations.
