WWE has been booming under Triple H's creative leadership in recent years. However, a massive change to company policy has reportedly left some talent frustrated.

Ticket prices have steadily risen with time as WWE continues to book bigger and better shows. This has reportedly led to the company cutting back on comps for its talent, leading to frustration backstage.

A report by Fightful Select states that comps are no longer available in many cases and instead, talent are getting a pre-sale link that their friends and family can use to purchase tickets online before the tickets become available to the general public.

The report clarified that it wasn’t clear whether the change was applicable across the board, but a number of talents had mentioned that the change affected them. Fightful also added that a WWE higher-up claimed that the change was a result of the company’s success and that they had even used fewer "seat fillers" than in previous years because the Stamford-based promotion is on a hot streak currently.

When requesting comps, talent usually sends in a request and if granted, they are informed and a notification is sent by email to whoever got the tickets. Fightful stated that a talent they spoke to who took issue with the change stated that no notification or written information was provided in regards to the change.

Another talent stated that they had comp tickets approved months before and the week of the show, they were asked to provide a credit card to pay for the tickets, according to the report.

WWE Superstars benefitted from comps before reported change under Triple H

WWE Superstars travel all around the world to entertain fans. The stars come from many different cities and countries, and therefore it feels good to see them perform in their hometown many times.

Comps provided superstars a way to invite their friends and families to shows without worrying about paying for tickets. However, the newly reported change has caused some problems as ticket prices have soared in recent years.

WWE Superstars, or their friends and family, may be required to pay for tickets now if they intend to attend shows. That could lead to fewer stars having their loved ones in the crowd as compared to before.
