WWE NXT this week had an exciting match that ultimately ended in a manner that left fans crushed. The hated Ridge Holland went one-on-one with the celebrated leader of Chase University, Andre Chase.
The two put on quite the bout. They fought all over the ringside area, and there was even some chaos with other Chase U members, such as Duke Hudson and Thea Hail. However, in the end, it was Holland who stood tall.
As a result of Andre Chase's crushing defeat, sweeping changes have been made to NXT. The Chase U faction is seemingly no more, as the main stipulation for the bout dictated that if Mr. Chase were to lose, Thea Hail, Duke Hudson, and Riley Osborne would be forced to go their separate ways.
This effectively caused Chase U to disband, but they might not be the only faction that faces similar circumstances. This article will look at a handful of other stables that could end up being forced to split sooner rather than later.
Below are four WWE factions that could be forced to disband after Chase U.
The Alpha Academy is a popular WWE faction on Monday Night RAW. The group was first created by Chad Gable, but he is no longer part of the stable. Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri are now the only members of the faction.
Recently, an interesting segment happened between The Alpha Academy and The New Day. Otis tried to offer some help to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods given their animosity, but Woods snapped and belittled them, essentially saying they were nothing without Master Gable leading the trio of lovable misfits.
Now, The Alpha Academy and The New Day are going to clash. Given Xavier's attitude these days, there is a chance that he would try to disrupt and even break up The Alpha Academy. He might try to add a wager to the bout that the losing group must split, just so he could get the last laugh.
The Final Testament is another stable from WWE Monday Night RAW, although they first formed on Friday Night SmackDown. Karrion Kross leads the group, and he's joined by Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, and Paul Ellering.
The Kross-led stable is currently involved in a rivalry with The Wyatt Sicks. Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, and Dexter Lumis are looking to take out The Final Testament and The Miz, who has been working with the stable, once and for all.
While The Final Testament recently got the better of The Wyatt Sicks, pain will be unleashed on the Kross-led group, but Bo Dallas may want more revenge than that. He could challenge Kross to a match where The Final Testament as a unit is up for grabs.
Either The Wyatt Sicks win and Kross disbands the group or The Final Testament takes out the spooky stable once and for all.
The Bloodline has a lot of history in WWE. The original version of the group was led by Roman Reigns, but the current version is headed by Solo Sikoa. He is joined by Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and, seemingly, Bronson Reed.
However, Roman Reigns has been looking to win back the Ula Fala and claim The Bloodline as his own. The first major step in doing so will be a Bloodline vs. Bloodline bout at WWE Survivor Series WarGames. It is at that show where Reigns could try to add a major stipulation.
The OTC could demand the bout be for the Ula Fala and the right to The Bloodline. If Roman and his team were to win, Solo would be forced to give up his rights as Tribal Chief and his version of The Bloodline would end forever.
Solo Sikoa taking over The Bloodline when Roman Reigns was away from WWE television led to some big changes. Jimmy Uso was violently kicked out of the group, and Paul Heyman was brutally assaulted. In fact, The Wiseman is yet to return.
Solo insists that he's The Tribal Chief now, and he has quite the stable that follows him into battle. The OTC has since reunited with former Bloodline members The Usos and Sami Zayn to combat them.
While Roman Reigns is hoping to take back the Ula Fala and The Bloodline, Solo could offer a counter-stipulation of his own. He could say if The new Bloodline defeated The OG Bloodline, Roman, his cousins, and Sami could never reunite again. This would mean The OG Bloodline would disband permanently. By doing so, Solo would likely be the uncontested Tribal Chief moving forward.
