One-half of WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Jade Cargill was assaulted by an unknown attacker on last week's episode of SmackDown. It has not been ascertained yet as to who the attacker was. Meanwhile, Cargill has reportedly been written off television for a significant period.
And now, we might have a hint that her attacker might be none other than her partner, Bianca Belair. The EST of WWE has shown massive concern over her partner's health, but there have been several reasons that lead us to believe she could potentially be behind the attack on Jade.
Belair was seen lip-syncing to the "I Never Needed You at All" part of her WWE theme song, Watch Me Shine, as she entered the ring for her match against WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax on RAW this week.
Bianca was dancing and looked visibly happy and there was also no frustration visible on her face that a mysterious attacker had just assaulted her partner a few days back. Her body language hinted that Belair was up to something.
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo claimed a few days back on his podcast Legion of RAW that there was allegedly real-life heat between The EST of WWE and Jade Cargill.
"You know, in real life, you know they hate each other, right?" (50:44 - 50:52)
According to Russo, he came to know about the backstage tension between the tag team champions through a person in the company. He stated that it might be because of the professional rivalry between the two as both of them are top stars and vie for popularity. So, WWE might have scripted their real-life rivalry into a storyline, and they might be heading for a big storyline ahead of WrestleMania 41.
A few weeks back on RAW, Liv Morgan had a heated exchange with Belair, and she rubbed her the wrong way, when she warned Jade Cargill to watch her back, as Bianca might stab her any day.
The Miracle Kid stated that it was well-known that the two didn't like each other, and the only thing keeping them together was the WWE tag team titles. While Jade shrugged off Morgan's comments on the night, it did send many fans thinking that maybe, WWE was planting hints of a storyline between Belair and Cargill.
Be that as it may, WWE has reported that Cargill has sustained several injuries, and there was no current timetable for her return. As of now, Bayley has replaced Cargill in the women's team of Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30.
