Dominik Mysterio has already made quite a few choices in his career that have established him as somewhat of a brand. The star has done what it takes to stand out of the crowd, even if, at times, those things have not been quite "fair." Now, a Hall of Famer has given him a nickname that WWE legend Ric Flair has always been known by.

After starting off working with his father, Rey Mysterio, in WWE, Dominik has quickly shown that he can do what it takes to get ahead in the company. While, at times, this has meant that he has gone too far too soon, this has also seen him establish himself as a brand. Be it betraying his father, joining Judgment Day, his work with Rhea Ripley, or betraying her for Liv Morgan. He has been one of the fastest-rising stars in the business. Now, his father has given him a nickname.

The Dirtiest Player in the Game is a name that has been synonymous with Ric Flair over the years. The WWE legend has done a lot to earn it. Now, Mysterio has named his son Dominik the Dirtiest Player in the Game. While speaking to WWE about having his son be a part of his dream squad for the Survivor Series team, Rey said:

"Last but not least, I hate to say this, but I would have to pick the dirtiest player in the game, and that would be Dirty Dominik." (1:39 - 1:46)

So far, Ric Flair has not responded to this.

Dominik Mysterio has grown up watching the likes of Ric Flair

Having grown up in the wrestling business, watching the top names in the world work their magic in the ring, Dominik Mysterio has seen Eddie Guerrero and Ric Flair, true legends, do whatever it takes to get their character over with the fans.

Dominik Mysterio has been successful but has a long way to go before reaching the legends' level. It remains to be seen what Ric Flair thinks of this new nickname for Dominik, given that he didn't quite appreciate Becky Lynch calling herself "The Man," another nickname he felt was his by right.
