The Rock to bring 2-time WWE Champion to SmackDown for help against Roman Reigns? Exploring the chances

The Rock and Roman Reigns will likely go to war once The Final Boss makes his return to WWE for another run. While the Hollywood star may have The Bloodline on his side, the OTC is also expected to reunite with his old stablemates, making the situation even. However, Rocky could play a major swerve by bringing in an unexpected name into the equation.

Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline wronged many superstars during The Head of the Table's historic Undisputed WWE Championship reign. One of them includes Drew McIntyre, whose feud with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso earlier this year proved that he is still not over the Clash at the Castle loss to Reigns.

Drew McIntyre seemingly shares a close relationship with The Rock, as The Brahma Bull was the one to announce the news of the two-time WWE Champion's re-signing with the company.

The Final Boss could pull strings as a board member of TKO and bring The Scottish Warrior on SmackDown to gain an advantage over his cousin. This way, McIntyre will also get a chance to avenge his Clash at the Castle 2022 loss.

Former WWE star believes that Cody Rhodes could be involved in a potential match between The Rock and Roman Reigns

Fans have been salivating at the thought of The Rock and Roman Reigns locking horns ever since the latter turned heel and anointed himself as The Head of the Table. While many expected the match to take place at WrestleMania 40, the plans were seemingly nixed, with the two instead joining forces against Cody Rhodes.

A lot has changed in the last few months, with Reigns now a babyface and partnering with The American Nightmare. The Rock is expected to work with both superstars upon his return to the company, and former WWE star Aiden English believes that the trio could clash in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 41.

"I think [The] Rock and Roman is definitely a goal. They didn't get it last year. They pivoted. I think they want that freaking match. 'Mania has done [it] a lot of times with Triple Threats. Is this gonna build to a WrestleMania 41 Triple Threat for the title? Roman wants his title back," he said.

The Rock returned to WWE at Bad Blood, where he had a staredown with Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. While the Final Boss did not say a word, he did a three-count gesture, and many believe it hinted at a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania next year.
