WWE Bad Blood was the last time The Rock made his presence felt, and he left the WWE Universe wanting more. Appearing for the first time since the RAW after WrestleMania 40, all the Brahma Bull did was stand and stare down Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Now, with Survivor Series WarGames a few days away, expectations are high. Will we see The Final Boss in Vancouver? And will he possibly replace a former champion in the new Bloodline?
Now, the former champion in question here is Tonga Loa. Despite holding a WWE Tag Team Championship at one point in time, the 41-year-old has been rather inactive of late. In particular, he did not participate in The Bloodline versus Bloodline match at Crown Jewel. Taking this into consideration and the fact that there has been some criticism about his wrestling, there may be some wondering if The Rock could replace him at Survivor Series. But, the answer is "No".
While it would be great to see The Rock wrestle again, Survivor Series is a bit too soon. Keeping in mind his last match was nearly seven months ago, he will need time to get back into wrestling shape. Furthermore, an injury at the PLE would completely derail the long-term plans WWE has for him. At most, the fans can hope for him to make an appearance, much like the one he made at Bad Blood.
Then again, this is all a matter of speculation. While there are just five days left until Survivor Series, this is the WWE, and anything can happen. Only time will tell.
One of the reasons why fans are expecting to see The Rock at Survivor Series is his relationship with Solo Sikoa. While the two didn't interact much upon The Final Boss' initial return, there is a chance that they are working closely now. Working closely, to potentially take down both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
While Johnson was making his return to Bad Blood, Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline escaped through the crowd. While basking in the glory of The People's Champ, the new Tribal Chief made an interesting comment to a fan in attendance. He suggested that the Hollywood star's return was "part of the plan".
If the two are colluding, then things aren't looking good for WWE. Solo Sikoa has aspirations of running the company as the new leader of the Bloodline and if he has The Final Boss backing him, everyone is in for a world of trouble.
