Tiffany Stratton and 6 other WWE stars who debuted and won a Championship within the last year

Tiffany Stratton won the WWE Women's Championship on the last episode of SmackDown. Cashing in Money in the Bank contract means she spent less than a year on the main roster before capturing a title.

The former NXT Women's Champion debuted before WrestleMania 40 and competed in the women's Elimination Chamber match in Australia.

Many stars wait years to win a title, especially in the singles ranks. Xavier Woods and Chad Gable have been with WWE for a long time, but neither has captured a singles Championship. 2024 was a special case as several big names debuted on the main roster and in NXT.

Whether free agents or NXT debutants, the following six stars recently won titles within a year of their debuts.

#6. Giulia ended Roxanne Perez's second reign

2025 has certainly upended the landscape of every women's division in WWE. Rhea Ripley beat Liv Morgan on RAW on Netflix. Stratton dethroned Nia Jax just days before on SmackDown.

The latest title shift occurred when Giulia beat Roxanne Perez to become the new NXT Women's Champ on January 7. The Beautiful Madness debuted in the crowd at last year's Stand & Deliver.

Her in-ring debut, however, didn't happen until September 2024. It's clear that Giulia has an aura that few performers possess. That aura will lead NXT in 2025 and beyond.

#5 & #4. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin joined SmackDown

Perhaps the fastest title win close to debuting for WWE was that of The Motor City Machine Guns. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin won the WWE Tag Team Titles in just their third match in the company.

After The Bloodline won the belts from DIY, the Motor City Machine Guns were immediately thrust into the Championship picture.

Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga had a brief run to sell Solo's Bloodline as dangerous, but the quick change hurt the momentum. Shelley and Sabin lost the titles just as fast as they won them. It was still a quick title turnaround for two veterans of the industry.

#3. Ethan Page made a shocking debut in NXT

The NXT title picture was a mess after Trick Williams beat Ilja Dragunov for the Championship. Williams is incredibly popular, but his feuds have been mediocre. His matches aren't classics, either.

Ethan Page debuted on the May 28, 2024, episode of NXT by attacking the incredibly over Williams to prolong his spot atop NXT. He came up short in his first attempt but won the title in a four-man contest.

Despite the video's title, All Ego did not "steal" the Championship. He merely fell into the pinfall, winning the title by pinning Je'Von Evans. It followed the rules of the contest and protected the fan favorite in the process.

All Ego made a few defenses but was treated like a cowardly heel rather than a legitimate Champion. He's still proven his worth by carrying every feud he's been in with and without the title.

#2. Jade Cargill hasn't been pinned in WWE singles action

Despite appearing on all three WWE brands last fall, Jade Cargill did not make her in-ring debut until the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble match. After finishing the final three, she teamed up with Bianca Belair to win the Women’s Tag Team titles.

The Storm and The EST won and lost the titles in 2024, competing on more PLEs than any Intercontinental or United States Champion. Belair still holds the belts with Naomi even after Cargill's "attack."

WWE pushes certain stars quickly right out of the gate. Cargill has been treated like a huge star ever since she emerged in the company.

#1. Bron Breakker hasn't slowed down

Bron Breakker debuted on SmackDown before WrestleMania 40. It was after the show when his main roster career quickly took off.

Despite being excluded from the King of the Ring tournament, Breakker soon entered into a program with Sami Zayn over the Intercontinental Championship.

He fell short in his first bid at main roster gold but captured the title from Zayn at SummerSlam.

After trading the belt with Jey Uso, Breakker remains the Intercontinental Champion. The former NXT Champion is clearly a future WrestleMania main-eventer.
