Al Orobah and Al Hilal will battle for three points in a Saudi Pro League matchday 14 clash on Saturday (January 11th). The game will be played at the Al-Jouf University Stadium.
The home side are coming into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Al Riyadh in December 2024. Their visitors were reduced to 10 men following Ahmed Asiri's 29th-minute dismissal. However, Riyadh went on to claim maximum points despite their numerical disadvantage with Toze scoring the match-winner with 10 minutes left on the clock.
Hilal, meanwhile, were eliminated by Al Ittihad on penalties following a 2-2 draw after extra-time in the Saudi King Cup quarterfinal. Karim Benzema broke the deadlock for Ittihad in the 63rd minute while Salem Al Dawsari equalized nine minutes later. Marcos Leonardo and Benzema each scored in extra time to prompt penalties where Ittihad advanced with a 3-1 victory in the shootout.
The Blue Wave will turn their focus to the league where their last game saw them claim a 3-2 home win over Al Read.
The win left them in second in the league standings, having garnered 34 points from 13 games. Orobah are 13th with 13 points from 13 games.
Orubah returned to the top-flight for the first time since 2015. They finished rock bottom in that season but have performed much better this time around and have a three-point cushion over the relegation zone.
Al Hilal are seeking to defend their league title but are two points behind Al Ittihad who also eliminated them in the cup.
We are backing the visitors to claim a comfortable victory in addition to a clean sheet.
