Granada will face Getafe at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Friday in another round of the 2024-25 Copa del Rey campaign. The home side, who currently play in the Segunda Division, are pushing for an immediate return to La Liga but will break from that in the new year as they return to cup action.

They kicked off their Copa del Rey campaign with a 2-0 win over Cortes, with Shon Weissman opening the scoring before an own goal from the fifth-tier outfit guaranteed advancement for the Nazaries. They then played out a 2-2 draw against Real Zaragoza in the second round before ultimately winning the tie on penalties.

Getafe, meanwhile, traded tackles with Manises in their cup opener back in November and picked up a comfortable 3-0 victory, with Peter Gonzalez's first-half strike sandwiched between goals from Bertug Yildrim. They then beat fourth-tier outfit Orihuela on penalties in the second round of the cup after a wasteful 120 minutes.

The visitors beat Espanyol 1-0 at this stage of the Copa del Rey last season following a late winner from Luis Milla and will be targeting victory here as well.

Granada vs Getafe Head-to-Head and Key Numbers

Granada vs Getafe Prediction

Granada are on a run of consecutive unbeaten outings and have lost just one of their last five games across all competitions. They have won three of their last four games at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes and will hope their home advantage can spur them to win against top-flight opposition this week.

Getafe, meanwhile, are on a run of back-to-back defeats and have scored just once in their last five matches. They have been poor on the road this season but are the stronger side ahead of Friday's contest and should win here.

Prediction: Granada 0-1 Getafe
