Fans on social media have called out Diogo Dalot despite Manchester United's 3-2 win over Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday (November 28). Dalot misplaced a pass that almost made United concede a goal in the 75th minute.
The Portugal international's performance was also criticized as he struggled in the defense. Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring in the first minute of the game after goalkeeper Nikita Haikin made a mistake. In the 19th minute, Hakon Evjen scored an outstanding goal, making the scoreline 1-1.
Four minutes later (23’), Philip Zinckernagel gave Bodo/Glimt the lead after receiving a pass from Patrick Berg. In the 45th minute, Rasmus Hojlund scored Manchester United's equalizer, and the first half ended 2-2.
Five minutes into the second half, Hojlund gave the Red Devils the lead. The game ended 3-2 in favor of Manchester United.
Dalot played for 45 minutes and had a passing accuracy of 83% (24/29), created one chance, and lost three out of six duels. Several fans on X expressed their disappointment in the 25-year-old's performance in the game's aftermath. One fan wrote:

Dalot has provided two assists in 20 games this season while Manchester United have now registered nine points from five UEL games. They are ranked 12th in the standings.
Manchester United are interested in signing Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt, as per Sky Sport (via Transfer News Live on X). Marmoush's reported transfer fee could be between €50 and €60 million.
Ruben Amorim might be looking to improve the level of competition in the center-forward position. Marmoush has had a brilliant start to the 2024-25 campaign. The 25-year-old has scored 15 goals and registered 11 assists in 18 games across competitions. He could benefit the Red Devils in attack if signed.
Marmoush’s versatility to feature as a right and left-winger could also be seen as one of his positives. The Egyptian international is contracted at Frankfurt till June 2027.
